Rain Poems: 17/34
Nature, Rain

Washed Away

© High Queen Crystal

I tried to make this a sad poem. It's short but still meaningful. One wishes to wash away their troubles.

I listen as it falls, as it washes away the dirt.
I watch as everything is wiped away,
clean, new.

Oh blissful rain won’t you wash away me?
Won’t you wash away my sorrows and leave only joy behind?
Oh why, oh why can’t I be washed away?
