Nature, Earth

Mother Nature’s Fury

© Darya Ferguson

It arrives quickly
With powerful winds
Ripping everything off their hinge
Screaming her fury in the heat of the day
Or the dead of night
Rain pours on everything with the tears of her sadness for her beloved earth
She flashes lighting in the air
To show how much she cares about every little thing everywhere
Thunder booms as she yells at the humans for their incompetent use of her
Yet they don’t know how it hurts to see life ripped out of the ground
So the only things she can do is cry out so they will understand her plea for her one and only family
