Sky Poems: 16/16

Nature, Sky

Weep

© Stephanie A. Harris

Here is a beautiful poem about the harmony and serenity between the sun and the moon.

The sun and the moon,
Each has beauty,
Opposites though they be.
Secrets, truths, and radiant light,
Rage and serenity.
Each has heat and a soothing embrace,
Each is a gift from above,
They are Alpha, Omega,
An intricate waltz,
And each inspires love.
And though each stands alone,
Without one another,
Diminished they would be.
The rhythm would falter,
The light would dim,
And the world would quietly,
Weep.
