Silken Tomb

© Brent Blazek

Listen to the Poem

As a butterfly caught,
In an unraveling web,
You hang in suspenseful torment,
Descending on the Earth.

Deftly, the spider approaches,
Carrying death, and weaving,
Your silken tomb.
