Nature, Faraway Place

Half Goddess

© Chelsea L. Rigdon

Where does a half-goddess belong? This poem says a half-goddess has no place to belong; a half-goddess is neither here nor there.

Listen to the Poem

Moonlight dances across my face,
Wind blows through my hair,
I wish that I could find a place,
But I belong neither here nor there.

Starlight dances in my eyes,
Nature all around me,
Everything lives, everything dies,
Everything but me.

I watch the world spin 'round & 'round,
I walk across the land,
I listen to each sweet, sweet sound,
I dance across the sand.

Moonlight dances across my face,
Wind blows through my hair,
I wish that I could find a place,
But I belong neither here nor there.
