Nature, Flower

Listen to the Poem

Not far from a river,
in the depth
of a wood,
amidst gold autumn debris,
snow, ivy and moss,
– snowdrops –
heads bowed demurely
in cold, winter light
stand patient and silent
with spring in their sight.
