Sun Poems: 1/9

Nature, Sun

PANORAMA OF DAWN

© Ma - i

I dedicate this poem to all lovers of nature.

The sun slowly peeps from the horizon
It's rays furnishing light and life on everything it touches.
The shimmering rays refresh the nature around
It throws open another wonderful occasion
To prove that life is worth the living.
It brings to view the crystal clear diamonds
on the leaves and flowers of my backyard
fresh, pure, transparent and refreshing in their form
Yet, delicate and are subjected to ephemeral.
They fade away as the heat rays hit them.
Am I like these dews that hasten to quit?
