Butterfly

© Nandhinee

I watch her as she glides,
Above the blissful terrain,
oh, there she dives,
Fluttering along the sky.

Tender blue and lushy green,
Millions would adore her beauty,
One of the god's great poems I've seen,
Among the brightest flowers,
So much of pride there she lies,
Imbibing nectar and sighs,
'Oh enough' she again dives,
Rifting across the sky.

I watch her as she glides,
Over her mirthful domain,
My agony and pain kept aside,
I watch her as she dives.
