Nature, Winter

A Clear, Cold, Windy Winter Night

© Kathrine Horhay

It is late at night and you are walking through a snowfilled field. The wind is blowing the moon is out. Imagine that as you read this poem.

Light as day,
Dark as night,
Sun’s away,
Moon is bright.

Wind and shade,
Shadow; cloud,
Earth does fade,
Quiet; loud
