Heaven Poems: 3/7
Nature, Heaven

The Vail

© Misty Silverswag

Angels fly around us
Everywhere we look
Some are silver
Some are gold
Though we cannot see them through the veil

Bad ghosts
Good ghosts
all are there
floating with us
behind our hair
Some are near
Some are far
Though we cannot see them through the veil

Spirits are real
rather real indeed
Seeping into bodies and more
Though we cannot see them through the veil

The veil is too strong
too mighty for us
but once a year
the veil is lifted
Midnight October thirty first
It is believed to be a magical night
among all others
and on that night
We can see the angels, ghosts, and spirits
On the other side of the veil
