Tree Poem

I mainly started writing poems because of my English teacher. We had to observe something over the weekend, and I was going through writers block and I had no idea what to write about until I eventually got bored of sitting in front of the computer, and I decided to go walk outside.

WHISPERING PINES

The wind blows,
And the trees whisper my name.
A sound of serenity bounces on and off my ear drum.

I hear peace,
And nothing else.
The soothing sound relaxes me as the trees dance with the wind.

Inhale,
Exhale,
I take a deep breath.

My eyes open as I finally comprehend,
It all depends,
If your ready or not,
But it will come.
