I wrote this cheetah poem for school and thought id put it on here and share it.

The Cheetah Hunt

© Hannah Beroske
I see it sprint across the open plains,
swerving back and forth.

Tripping the prey its chasing
till it tumbles to the ground

Once its down it'll call its cubs
eating away at the carcass.

When it bites a bone you'll hear a crunch
and go till there full from eating lunch.

At sun down it will go to its den
and repeat the process until its end.

When its time is up you'll feel the breeze
as its spirit runs by you.
