Wind Poem

A peaceful poem depicting a girl standing by the ocean, enjoying the breeze.

Night Breeze

© Roderick A. Jones

Gazing at the stars,
In a beautiful night sky,
She feels the silent wind,
Just slowly passing by.

As the cool gentle breeze,
Caresses her skin,
It ruffles her dress,
Again and again.

As the waves from the ocean,
Cover the sand,
The wind sways her hair,
As she brushes it with her hand.

She stands with a smile,
In the light of the moon,
Hoping the breeze,
Will come back soon.
