Insect Poem

Imagine…a butterfly caught in a spider's web…Ouch.

Silken Tomb

© Brent Blazek

As a butterfly caught,
In an unraveling web,
You hang in suspenseful torment,
Descending on the Earth.

Deftly, the spider approaches,
Carrying death, and weaving,
Your silk.
en tomb.
