Scenery Poem

In the morning mist, beside the rocks, sits a field of lilies.

Off the Field

© Anne Kundtz

Off the field

Brilliant yellow lilies,
Shrouded in morning's cloud,
Know the caress of mist and spray,
And community among rye grass.

Soul curves to wholeness,
As ocean curls to sand,
Sun warms and draws to herself.

Salty bay water clouds,
Falling among rocks,
The trusting fields blessed,
With brilliant yellow belonging.
